A Day with Rheumatoid Arthritis (Chronic Pain Awareness Month)

I have rheumatoid arthritis plus type 1 diabetes amongst other things. I wanted to put together a little video of what my day with these things looks like in the context of being a professional songwriter. This video contains needles, blood and country music.

Thanks for the insight Eve. Clearly lots of challenges to overcome every day - which outwardly you bear lightly - but it wouldn't be a stretch to understand that they are not easy to cope with. It reminded my of lot of people I'm known and worked with over they years. I used to train disabled people, giving them new skills so they cold get back into the workplace - including people with rheumatoid arthritis. My other business (i.e. apart from the music) is website design, specialising in web accessibility. I work mostly with 3rd sector organisations. So to a certain extent my work is all about trying to ensure the world changes to fit the person rather than the person having to change to fit the world. Which is what you do in you workplace. Speak soon, Jim
