Eve's Story in the Belfast Telegraph

Today's Belfast Telegraph featured a story about Eve's battle with rheumatoid arthritis and how that led her to become a songwriter. You can read it online here.

Recent Gigs

February and March have been busy for gigs. Eve previewed tracks from the new album at HMV Belfast and at the Goat's Toe Bangor. You can see videos of the gig on Eve's Facebook page.

Exclusive Live Performances of Tracks from Peregreni

Here are a couple of exclusive live performances of tracks from the upcoming album recorded in Augustaville, Eve's family seat. The first is a bit Bonnie Tyler and the second is a haunting Celtic ballad. We hope you enjoy the songs!

Eve Joins the Irish Songwriters Guild

Eve has recently become a member of the Irish Songwriters Guild which aims to export Irish music internationally. In their own words 'The initial members of the ISG are all top songwriters who have written many hits and between them have sold millions of records. They set the standard. We want to promote excellence and anyone wishing to get involved needs to have material that can stand alongside the songs our members write.' It's a great honour to be in the company of many of Ireland's top songwriters!

Easter Tour

Eve will be going on a UK tour at Easter with Amanda Agnew joined by DiElle in England and Martin Stephen Jones in Scotland. Ports of call so far include Belfast, Greenock, Glasgow, Alnwick, Bath, Porstmouth, Bristol and London. To be kept ip to date with tour dates, sign up for our mailing list.

Eve in Nashville

Eve recently visited Nashville, Tennessee with award winning Bangor songwriter Amanda Agnew and bassist, Andy Whittaker. During her time there she met several songwriters and publishers at the Nashville International Songwriters Association International, watched Amanda and Andy perform at the famous Bluebird Café, saw the original blue suede shoes and stood about 10 feet from Charles Eston at the Grand Ole Opry.

Ailsa Craig on BBC Radio Ulster

Cherrie McIlwaine kindly played Ailsa Craig on BBC Radio Ulster on 27th July 2015, describing it as 'a beautiful song from a talented local artist'. Thanks, Cherrie!

On the Airwaves Recently

Illumination was exclusively first played on Fiona Elcoat's Big Boots and Celtic Roots on Lionheart Radio. Ailsa Craig was played on The Sensational Sunday Special with Danny and Ruth on Celtic Music Radio. The show featured songs with Scottish place names, so as a Northern Irish artist it was nice to be included! Danny Matheson also played a track on It's All About Folk on Camglen Radio.

Keep listening out for more songs about to air!
